Real Madrid Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has been accused of tax fraud by the Spanish Tax agency.
According to reports he is said to have defrauded the tax agency of €15 million between 2011 and 2014.
Spanish prosecutors are considering maybe he should face charges based on the evidence of the investigation carried out by the tax agency before the end of june.
Although the tax agency wants prosecutors to press charges against Cristiano Ronaldo and are demanding a minimum of five-year prison term.
Ronaldo's agents has denied the claims assuring them their client is complaint with his tax payments.
According to prosecutors if Ronaldo should face charges and convicted he will face a minimum sentence of 15 months jail term.
Tax fraud is a major issue among footballers in Spain, Barcelona star Lionel Messi was handed a 21 month jail term after being found guilty of tax fraud.
