Manchester Unitedhave made an opening offer for Juventusmidfielder Arturo Vidal.
Tuttosportsays Juve will not budge from their €50 million valuation for the Chile international, having turned down United's bid of €40 million plus €3 million in bonuses.
United have not been discouraged and will return with an improved proposal of €43 million.
