The La Liga champions have had a hit-and-miss start to the season under Zinedine Zidane.

Real’s star striker Karim Benzema also picked up a hamstring injury yesterday and will be sidelined for a month.

And according to Spanish transfer outlet Don Balon, Real are ready to splash the cash and land a new hitman.

They say Real president Florentino Perez and Zidane have made a shortlist, claiming the La Liga giants will make a move for a striker in January.
