Earth’s rotation: the earth spins on its axis
from west to east.the earth’s axis is an
imaginary line joining the north and south
poles through the centre of the earth. It takes
the earth 24hours to make one complete
rotation.there are 12hours of daylight and
12hours of darkness, although this
phenomenon does not exist at the same time
at all places of the world
(Ii)The earth’s revolution::
The earth’s revolutionis the movement of the
earth on its orbit round the sun once in
approximately 365 1/4 days and this is called
‘leap year’. The revolving earth is inclined at
an angle of 66 1/2[degree] to the earth’s
orital plane…
(Iii) EQUINOXES: this refers to periods of
time when the mid-day sun is directly
overhead at the equator.it occurs on march
21st and september 23rd when equal day and
equal night exist, that is 12 hours of daylight
and 12 hours of darkness. March 21st is
called spring equinox while september 23rd is
called autumn equinox..
3b
I. It causes seasons
Ii.it determines year
Iii.it causes varying length of day nd night at
different times of the year

A IS 0.100 mol
2.50g of Na2CO3 and Na2SO4 in 250cm^3
Na2CO3+2HNO3->2NaNO3+H2O+CO2
Conc of B in mol/dm^3
Conc of Na2CO3 in the mixture
Na2CO3 =106
VA=21.7cm^3
CA=0.100
VB=25cm^3
CB-=?
NA=2
NB=1
CAVA/CBVB=NA/NB
0.1*21.7/CB*25=2/1
CB=(0.1*21.7*1)/(25*2)
=0.0434M
ii)
molar concentration =mass conc/molar mass
mass conc=molar conc*molar mass
=0.0434*106
=4.69g/dm^3
iii)
2.50g of Na2CO3+Na2SO4->250cm^3
Xg of Na2CO3+Na2SO4->1000cm^3
Xg=2.50*1000/250
Xg=10g
% of Na2CO3=4.6/10*100
=46%

8. Outline five achievements of the Action
Group as a political party in nigeria
1. The party won regional power in Western
Nigeria while Nigeria was still under British
colonial rule
2. It took part in the national elections on the
eve of Nigerian independence in 1960 but was
able to garner little support outside the
Western Region and the Nigerian federal
capital city of Lagos.
3. It also had appeal in the later South-South
and Middle Belt regions of the country.
4. The party was regarded in some
establishment circles as supporting
communism, and was viewed with suspicion by
the West, even though the leadership denied
this claim.
